He has seen her slippers. He will become acquainted with her collection of striped socks. She's not going to look amiss at her boyfriend having totally adorable cat mugs. At least he's got good taste. If watching her use it makes him smile, all the better.
She'll shift a little closer too so she can lean her head against his arm. It's not quite cuddling and they can both back away easily if it's too much for him. "So... what's the Japanese equivalent of dinner and a movie?"
