She hadn't thought of it that way. She wouldn't. He's seen what heroes look like in her world, and she doesn't think she could ever compete with that. It's hard for her to believe she's important. So now her blush is spreading, up to her ears and down to her shoulders, trailing off somewhere under the gauzy fabric.
"I hadn't thought of it that way." She's not admitting that he's right, but she's not arguing that he's wrong, either.
